Dr. White holds a Master of Divinity Degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in middle school education from the University of Virginia.


Dr. White has served as pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Stanardsville, Va., and the Zion Baptist Church in Dillwyn, Va. As an educator, Dr. White taught in the public school systems in Greene, Fluvanna, and Albemarle counties for more than 18 years. In 1998, he was elected Albemarle County’s Public School Teacher of the Year.

In April 2011, he received the first 100 Black Men of Central Virginia (100BMOCV) President’s Mentor of the Year award at a Gala event in Charlottesville. In May, an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree was bestowed upon him by the President and Board of Directors of Virginia University of Lynchburg.
